Tourism Gives Back Concert Dover, Delaware
At Dover, Delaware there will be a huge happening on May. All music enthusiasts are encouraged to attend a night of fun-filled musical concert featuring the “Funsters”. It is dubbed as the “Tourism Gives Back Concert” which will be held at the Legislative Mall on May 1 at 6pm. This event is a benefit concert for the production of the Dover Days Festival. It is not only a night of music but a night of mouth watering barbecue and antique cars “Cruise In” as well.
The Funsters is one of Dover’s most promising bands. They are composed of 9 talented singers who have been in the business for 16 years. They are a soul band that focuses on 60′s and 70′s hits. Their influences range from Frank Sinatra to The Beatles and Stevie Wonder. They also do 80′s and 90′s hits alongside Beach Music, Rock music and R&B. A couple of band members claim to fame are having worked with The Temptations. They do gigs to corporate and social events such as anniversaries, inaugural balls, etc.
The Tourism Gives Back Concert in Dover, Delaware also offers a barbecue cook off with Robert Fox, a master barbecue maker. Robert is the owner of the famous restaurant: Bbq Grills, Inc. in Dover, Delaware which offers barbecued salmon, prime rib, lamb and other delicacies such as baked beans that have gotten to the taste buds of so many residents of Dover. He also specializes in barbecue styled competition. During the event, Robert Fox also gives tips on how to smoke your barbecue like the professionals.
The Concert will also feature animation rides and “Cruise in” of vintage cars. The rides are for the kids’ enjoyment. The Tourism Gives Back Concert in Dover is truly a must-see event for the whole family as each member get to enjoy.
